Dr. Dan Odero:
A BS and MS Physics graduate of Kenyatta University, Dan has held a Radiation Oncology clinical professorship at the University of Ohio in the department of Specialty Medicine and is presently a physics professor at Spelman College. He earned his PhD degree in computational atomic and molecular physics from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formally named the University of Missouri-Rolla, a constituent of Missouri University system) and obtained his Radiation Therapy training from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He had a post-doctoral research fellowship at State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dan also holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from West Texas A&M University.
Dan is an author of book chapters, has published many peer reviewed research papers, conference proceedings and other articles in trade journals. He is a technical books and journal reviewer. He has been an invited guest speaker and visiting scientist at several U.S. and international laboratories and universities. He is a member of American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO), American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO), American Brachytherapy Society (ABS), American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and American Physical Society (APS).
Dan is a yard and farm hobbyist and likes to drive to nowhere at his spare time.
